Mental Health & Wellbeing
for Workplaces and Individuals
for Workplaces and Individuals
I am a qualified and professionally registered counsellor, a freelance trainer for Mental Health First Aid England, and a senior manager in an engineering consultancy with responsibility for operations, accounts, and HR.
I’m known as an engaging trainer and communicator, driven by a genuine passion for helping others thrive. Through my counselling practice, I support individuals and couples using a caring and person-centred approach. Alongside this, I bring specialist mental health knowledge and over 30 years of workplace experience across multiple sectors to my mental health training and work with organisations.
Originally from New Zealand, I moved to the UK in 1998 for work and life experience and have lived here ever since. My early career was in the retail and not-for-profit sectors before I joined an engineering consultancy in 2018, alongside training in counselling and workplace mental health. In 2020, I graduated with a Diploma of Higher Education in Integrative Counselling from Waverley Abbey College and completed my instructor training with Mental Health First Aid England. I now combine a senior management role with my counselling practice and freelance training, with each area enriching and informing the others.
