Mental Health Aware

Despite the progress we are making as a society to de-stigmatise Mental Health there remain misconceptions and myths. In this half-day awareness course the primary objective is to humanise and dispel the stigma surrounding mental health.

A brief overview of the most common mental health conditions is provided, as well as information around how to spot the warning signs of someone experiencing poor mental health. The course will also improve your confidence in having a supportive conversation with someone about their mental health, and you will gain insights into looking after your own personal wellbeing.

The course has been developed by MHFA England®, the workplace mental health experts. Research shows their courses make a lasting impact in people’s knowledge and confidence around mental health.
